Up Yours- Rajon Rondo

I'll start off the blog with a segment you'll see more of- Up Yours.
The purpose of this segment is for me to vent on a controversial person/play/etc. by telling a member involved to shove it.

UP YOURS- RAJON RONDO

- Ok folks, let's get real. If you haven't seen this play regarding Rondo already today, you're obviously Fred Flinstone living in a cave or you're related to a hermit crab.
The NBA has already said they will not penalize Rondo or the Celtics for the foul he placed on the lips of Brad Miller in Boston last night.
I'm not asking the NBA to do anything at this point. It's too late.
Here's my beef. How can the referees not call at least a flagrant on the play? It appears to me after watching the video that Rondo and the rest of the Celt's defense that flew to the corner during the play, realized they were about to watch Miller put in the game tying lay-up. In that frame of mind, Rondo had to do whatever he could to keep the ball out of the net. Little did he know that the ox-like center would air mail the toss, but still...give me a break! If you're telling me Rondo was going for the ball, you're losing it. Rondo had plenty of time to pull back his hand or just move it lower on the shoulder. But instead, he leaves it.
No matter, Miller should have made the free throws and at least tie the ball game. But hey, being a Memphis fan, I understand how that goes. The point of it all remains- The Bulls should have had 2 seconds to tie the game or pop up a 3 after Miller's misses.
If not for just the foul itself, Rondo should at least be punished for being an idiot and claiming he "got ball" after the play was finished. Watch him at the bottom.
Maybe I should blame the refs for not blowing the whistle. And after what Kendrick Perkins stated after Game 4- "I don't think these refs like the Celtics much"- the final play makes them look even more suspicious and scared. But to be honest, I hate Boston too much for me to let Rondo slide out of this one.
So in honor of this Blog's first post- UP YOURS RONDO!
